Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information DxCISION collects, how we use it, and the choices you have as a registered clinician.
1. Who we are
DxCISION ("we", "us", "our") provides a web-based clinical decision-support platform for licensed healthcare professionals. Contact: support@dxcision.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information
- MDCN folio number (for registration verification)
- Name and email address
- Authentication credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form)
Clinical case data
- Case presentations you enter (symptoms, vitals, facility tier, mode, and related clinical context)
- Generated assessments, saved cases, and case history linked to your account
- Feedback you submit (e.g. thumbs up/down by section)
Usage and technical data
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error diagnostics
- Aggregated usage metrics (e.g. analysis counts) for service operation and limits
- Local browser preferences such as theme selection
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the DxCISION service
- Verify MDCN registration eligibility and secure your account
- Generate structured clinical assessments from the case data you submit
- Store your case history so you can revisit prior assessments
- Monitor reliability, safety patterns, and product quality
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information or case content to third parties.
4. AI processing
When you run an analysis, the clinical information you enter is sent to our AI processing provider (currently OpenAI) to generate structured output. We use this solely to deliver the assessment you requested.
You should avoid entering direct patient identifiers (names, phone numbers, hospital numbers, addresses) unless necessary for your workflow. Enter de-identified clinical information wherever possible.
5. How we store and protect data
Account and case data are stored in secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase/PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and authenticated API access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
6. Who can access your data
- You: Your saved cases and assessments are accessible through your account.
- Service providers: Infrastructure and AI vendors that help us operate DxCISION, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Administrators: Authorized DxCISION admins may access usage statistics, feedback, and account metadata for operations, support, and safety monitoring. Routine browsing of individual case content is not part of normal admin workflows.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
7. Retention
We retain account and case data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
8. Cookies and local storage
DxCISION uses browser local storage for authentication tokens and user preferences (such as theme). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact support@dxcision.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. International processing
Your data may be processed in countries other than Nigeria where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of DxCISION after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
