Terms of Service

1. About DxCISION

DxCISION provides clinical intelligence for licensed medical doctors. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose. It does not replace your judgment. It does not create a doctor–patient relationship between DxCISION and any person you treat.

2. Eligibility

• You must be a licensed medical doctor.
• You must register with a valid medical licence number in the format required at sign-up.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You may not use DxCISION if you are barred from practice or if your account has been suspended.

3. Clinical disclaimer

DxCISION supports your reasoning. It does not replace it.

• All outputs are structured suggestions for thinking — not definitive diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment orders.
• You are solely responsible for clinical decisions, documentation, and patient care.
• Verify every recommendation against the patient, your examination, local protocols, and senior guidance before acting.
• You may use DxCISION at the point of care, including with a patient present. Do not present its output as autonomous medical advice.
• In a life-threatening emergency, start hands-on care first. Do not delay treatment to wait for software output.
• Generated content may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Safety checks cannot guarantee error-free output.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You must notify us promptly at dxcisionhq@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One account per doctor. You may not share credentials or resell access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use DxCISION for non-clinical, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes
• Submit content you do not have rights to use, or that violates patient confidentiality obligations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service
• Circumvent usage limits, authentication, or safety controls
• Present DxCISION output as autonomous medical advice to patients or the public

Avoid entering named patient identifiers unless you need them for your own workflow. You remain responsible for professional confidentiality and applicable health data law.

6. Intellectual property

DxCISION, its branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service in your professional work.

You retain ownership of case content you enter. You grant us a license to process that content solely to operate and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability and changes

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features and the service itself may change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DxCISION and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any harm arising from clinical decisions you make based on service output.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, if any.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DxCISION from claims arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable law or professional obligations.

10. Termination

You may stop using DxCISION at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, pose a security or safety risk, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Nigeria, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
